Using Hot and Cold Wax with Photographs 10am-5pm $125
Summer is a perfect time to play with beeswax. With the help of the warm sun, and a few other wonderful tools and techniques, we’ll apply hot or cold wax to photographs to create beautiful finishes that also seal and protect the images. Also, we’ll practice ways to use the wax creatively, taking the photographs to completely new level, making each one unique.
Space is limited in each workshop. To register, please use the contact form to send me an email.

Hand Painting Digital Prints
Learn to take your images to the next level, with the personal touch of your own hand. Hand-painting is an inspiring collaboration between artist and image. With the first few simple strokes, an image takes on greater depth, and the heart of the author begins to emerge.
I’ll demonstrate the techniques I’ve developed over the past 30 years of applying texture and color to digital photographs, using acrylic paints, pastels, pencils and watercolor. Then, you’ll have time to practice what you learn with support available throughout the session.
You don’t need prior painting experience for this workshop. All materials are provided except for prints. Instructions for prints will be given at signup.
1 day, private instruction: $350 + gst / Small groups 2-4: $185 pp
2 days private instruction: $550 +gst / Small groups 2-4: $350 pp
One by one, and one on one, we’ll explore 10 key things that I believe help to create evocative images that effectively communicate the vision of the photographer.
The lasting take-away is a clarifying awareness and approach to act as a new “lens” to add to your set of tools!
$150 +gst Private session 3+ hrs. / Small groups 2-4 $125 +gst pp
